Aliens Diorama Polystone Statue from Aliens

This is a collectable Aliens Diorama Polystone Statue from Aliens. It is approx. 33 cm high, made by Sideshow Collectibles. Perched atop a tall stone pillar, the alien warrior awaits the perfect moment to attack. The Aliens Diorama can be displayed on a desktop using the base (complete with Aliens logo), or it can separate from the base to be mounted on a wall. The diorama is cast in high-quality, heavyweight polystone, then hand-finished and hand-painted to exacting standards. Each piece is individually hand-numbered, and packaged in a durable foam interior and stunning printed box. First designed by H. R. Giger in 1979, the menacing star of Alien was a unique xenomorphic being. One adult alien was able to single-handedly eliminate the crew of the Nostromo, who had the unfortunate distinction of discovering the species on a seemingly abandoned planet. Only one of the crew survived, Ellen Ripley, and she alone returned to civilization, although the journey took 57 years. In that time, a small human colony settled on the alien planet, and contact was lost. Ripley is asked to return to the planet, along with a force of Colonial Marines, to investigate. What they discover is beyond their worst fears - an entire brood of the alien species has control of the company's atmospheric processing plant.
