Mob boss Joe Cabot assembles a team of criminals to perform a job, giving each of them a colour-coded name to keep the diamond heist professional and anonymous. When police arrive at the precise time and location of the burglary, several people are caught in the crossfire, including Mr. Brown and Mr. Orange. When Mr. White and the remaining team members arrive at the rendezvous point, the group supposes that an undercover police informant is in their midst, and Mr. Blonde reveals a captured police officer stashed in the trunk of his car.
